We had a chance to ask our brides what concerns they may have when buying a wedding dress online.  Here are the most common ones along with our responses. 

BAD QUALITY   Our Brides: 

• The dress is not what  is represented in the pictures.
• Looks different to the reference picture, fraud too (not you of course), bad quality.
• Quality. The material and the craftsmanship. I prefer to see close up pics to check them
• Quality doesn’t match the ad.
• It will be poorly made, bad material.

  We understand your concerns and would like to reassure you that all our dresses look exactly as they are in the pictures. We believe in using only the finest, highest-quality European fabrics and materials to create our handcrafted bridal gowns and dresses.  New York City Bride provides you with real customer reviews #nycitybride_review and our business story in addition to accepting returns of all accessories and standard size dresses purchased. You can check our photos and videos to see the close up details of the dresses, order the swatches to feel the fabric or contact our virtual stylists that will assist you with all of your bridal needs. We offer fabric swatches for each wedding dress, allowing you to see and feel the quality of the fabric before making your final decision. On the product page for your desired dress, simply choose to “order a swatch. We also provide product videos alongside product pictures to give you a closer look at fabric details and embellishments. Additional videos of our dresses are available on New York City Bride’s YouTube channel.   

  NOT BEING ABLE  TO RETURN THE DRESS   Our Brides: 

• It is not fitting me and having to go through the hassle of returning.
• What if the dress fits too big or too small and I don’t have enough time to return it.
• The fit and not being able to return it.

  New York City Bride offers worry free returns and exchanges. If you are not happy with the dress you can return it to our NYC location for a full refund. Just send us an email within five days after receiving the dress and we will send the return instructions. Only customized dresses are non returnable because they are made according to your preferences. Our average production time is about 9 weeks, so we recommend to order the dress earlier. We offer detailed size guide for every dress. Just take your bust,  waist and hips measurements and compare them with our size chart. The link to the size guide is located on the product page. If you are not sure about your size, just send us your measurements and we will recommend you the best option. We understand that sometimes your dress may require additional adjustments. Therefore, we partner with bridal alterations services across the US and will be happy to help you find the one in your area. 

WRONG SIZE   Our Brides: 

• The dress is not fitting properly. Not having anyone to make alterations to the dress.
• Sizing is wrong

  We offer detailed size chart for every dress, just click on the "size chart"  link from the product page and you will be directed to a specific size chart for your dress. We recommend you to take your measurements and compare them with the size chart before placing an order. If you are between sizes it is always better to go with a bigger size. You are welcome to send us your bust, waist and hips measurements and we will recommend you the best size. We also offer video instructions on how to measure yourself correctly. If you are still not confident about the measurements you can visit your local alterations shop and they will be able to measure you. We can recommend you the one in your area. 

THE DRESS DOESN’T FIT   

• It won’t look the same on me the way I imagined it to be.
• It doesn’t fit
• My fear is that I’ll order a dress and won’t like it once it’s on
• How it will look on my body type. I’m a tall size 10.

  You can schedule an appointment with our stylist, and she will help you to choose the dress. She speaks English and Spanish. During your call you will be able to discuss different styles and fabric that are  best for your body type.     At New York City Bride we offer free length adjustments. Just indicate your hollow to floor measurement in the comments to the order. If you love the dress, but it is too small - please contact us and we will be happy to exchange it for you. some dresses may require additional adjustments that can be done at your local alterations service. We can help to locate the one in your area. If you are not happy with the dress you can return it to our NYC location for a refund. We accept returns for all standard sizes  ( o -16).   

• That I won’t have the experience of trying multiple dresses on in front of my fam/besties.
